Shri Gaurav Marya ji is widely regarded as the father of Indian franchising. Over the last twenty-seven years, he has built Franchise India Holdings into the country's most influential franchise and small business platform, hosting the Franchise India Show — Asia's largest franchise expo — and publishing The Franchising World, the oldest magazine dedicated to the category in the region.

Under his leadership, the FI Group has launched and scaled eleven operating platforms spanning consulting, media, events, and digital commerce. His body of work has defined how Indian brands think about expansion, investor engagement, and franchisee success, and has put Indian franchising on the global map.
